Diocesan Choir

The Diocesan Choir of Greensburg is made up of directors, organists, and singers from all over the Diocese.  The choir sings for several liturgies during the year, including the Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass, Rite of Election, Chrism Mass, and Ordinations.  The ensemble is joined by members of the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra for the Christmas Lessons and Carols service in December.  The repertoire includes works from all periods, both accompanied and a cappella.  A brief and informal audition is required for membership.  You are asked to prepare a hymn or short piece.  Previous choral experience is presumed.  If you are interested in joining, please contact John Sittard at 724.834.3710 or jsittard@dioceseofgreensburg.org.
